Description
SuperCult® Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Growth Medium Kit, Chemically Defined is a chemically defined, serum-free, xeno-free media designed to proliferate human bone marrow derived mesenchymal cells in an undifferentiated state. The medium has been specifically designed and tested to ensure that the medium neither promotes spontaneous differentiation of cells nor inhibits cell differentiation to osteogenic, chondrogenic, or adipogenic lineages (when properly stimulated with an appropriate differentiation media).
Serum-free media, such as SuperCult® Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Growth Medium Kit, Chemically Defined (serum free), are intended to support cell growth without serum supplementation. This medium is chemically defined indicating that it contain only constituents of known molecular structure. SuperCult® Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Growth Medium Kit, Chemically Defined (serum free) is of primary interest to those seeking maximal control over research and manufacturing variables. It is complete and contains human albumin, recombinant human insulin, pasteurized human transferrin, HEPES, and L-glutamine. The medium does not contain phenol red or antibiotics.
