Description
Bone Marrow-CD105+ Endothelial Cells are positively selected from bone marrow Mononuclear Cells, using a direct immunomagnetic CD105 MicroBeads labeling system. Bone Marrow-CD105+ Endothelial cells express endoglin, a type III receptor of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-?) receptor family. These cells have the ability for multiplelineage differentiation. After 14 days of culture with Alpha-MEM + 10% FBS + 1% antimycotic-antibotic, there is a four-fold expansion of Bone Marrow-CD105+ Endothelial cells. These cultured cells express the following cell markers: CD105, CD13, CD29, CD44, CD49b, CD49e, CD54, CD71, CD90. The aforementioned markers are similar to the markers expressed on Bone Marrow mesenchymal stem cells.
