Description
EGFRvIII is a tumor-specific mutation of the epidermal growth factor receptor that is absent from normal tissues, but commonly expressed on the surface of GBMs and other neoplasms. As this mutation results in the translation of a unique extracellular epitope, it is readily recognized by a number of previously described monoclonal antibodies; EGFRvIII thus represents an ideal target for CAR-based therapeutic development. The Anti-EGFRvIII CAR-T Cell ISH Probe targeting the CAR 3’ UTR allows for highly sensitive and especific detection of Anti-EGFRvIII CAR-T cells.
