The D13S25 Probe may be used to identify deletions in the 13q14.3 region. A candidate tumor suppressor gene may reside telomeric of the RB1 gene at 13q14. Deletion of the locus D13S25 at 13q14.3 occurs in a substantial number of cases without deletion of the RB1 gene.
