IRF1, Interferon regulatory factor 1, is a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor (IRF) family which regulates gene expression critical to immune response, hematopoiesis and proliferation. IRF-1 is a transcriptional activator for IFN-A, IFN-B, and IFN-G stimulated genes. IRF1 is also a tumor suppressor transcription factor inducing apoptosis of tumorigenic cell lines. Human recombinant Interferon Regulatory Factor-1 produced in E. coli is a single, non- glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 134 amino acids (1-114) with a His-Tag of 20 aa, and having a molecular mass of 15 kDa.

Please centrifuge product briefly before opening vial. The dissolved protein can be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
Storage & Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 1 week. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
