Recombinant Human Granulocyte Stimulating Factor (rHu G-CSF) is a potent stimulator of bone marrow cells, especially those of neutrophil lineage. In addition, rHu G-CSF is able to enhance the survival and to activate the immunological functions of mature neutrophils. Human G-CSF is an 18.8 kDa protein containing 175 amino acid residues.
Human CSF3 expressed in E.coli
CAT# CSC-CTK0158-10 (10 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0158-50 (50 μg)
Greater than 98% as determined by SDS-PAGE and RP-HPLC analysis.
The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of murine M- NFS-60 cells is ≤ 0.1 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 1 x 10^8 units/mg.
Less than 1 EU/μg.
lyophilized from a sterile-filtered protein solution in 10 mM NaAcetate (pH 4.0).
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening the vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted with sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into water or other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted human G-CSF should be used immediately or stored long- term in undiluted working aliquots at -20o C. Please avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
