Description
KCNK3 (Potassium Two Pore Domain Channel Subfamily K Member 3) is a protein-coding gene. Diseases associated with KCNK3 include pulmonary hypertension and heritable pulmonary arterial hypertension. This cell line is generated from pre-made footprint-free human iPS cells by using gene editing method to introduce a deletion in the exon 2 of KCNK3 that resulted in a frame shift mutation, and is a good model for studying pulmonary hypertension-related pathologies in hepatic ABC transporters and aldosterone synthesis and secretion pathways.
