Tissue microarray is a high-throughput technique that allows rapid gene expression and copy-number surveys of large numbers of different tissue specimens. In addition, it represents a technical revolution for highly effective use of human tissue specimens, which are both difficult and expensive to obtain in enough amount and case number.

Creative Bioarray provides a large number of pre-made and custom tissue microarrays to facilitate the use of this efficient but resource-demanding technique in basic and translational research. In addition, custom services, including FISH, IHC and ISH staining of the tissue microarrays, are available at the lowest price in industry.

Based on the availability of more than 500,000 human and 30,000 animal samples in our tissue bank and your specific needs, we may provide you custom arrays. We have constructed high quality tissue arrays to satisfy customers’ special requirements. We have also established standard operation procedure in custom array service. Our tissue microarrays are produced by re-locating tissues from conventional histological blocks. Typically, 40 to 1,000 cylindrical formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue cores can be densely and precisely arrayed into a single paraffin block. From the block, up to 300 serial 4-8 μm thick sections can be produced and placed on individual glass microscopic slides.

Creative Bioarray has a custom service team that is specialized in IHC and ISH staining of tissue arrays/slides. We have established well-tested SOPs that can optimize the staining conditions efficiently. In particular, we have extensive RNA ISH staining experience in dealing with human tissues of distinct types. For IHC and ISH staining , we do not charge the arrays to be used in optimizing the staining conditions, which usually are over 6 in number to even experienced staff technicians. The final staining results will be captured into high resolution digital images.
