Tissue Bank

Creative Bioarray has one of the largest commercially available repository of formalin fixed and frozen tissue arrays. Our in-house repository contains a comprehensive archive of over 500,000 human tissue samples and 30,000 animal samples.

Creative Bioarray concentrates on diversity of samples so our samples are from variety of human races. Population-based  tissue banks with samples taken many years ago are available including material from many randomized treatment trials. Tissues are collected from donors in Germany, Italy, China, Korea, Japan, Canada and the United States.

A necessary refinement of the existing  tissue banks to enable large-scale and effective assessment of the presence of markers under identical staining conditions that do not use up valuable materials is to construct tissue arrays of well-characterized patient cohorts. In order to preserve these valuable materials we have started the construction of high quality tissue blocks. Clinical information has also been gathered and we will be able to offer the research community sets of large and high quality tissue blocks linked to clinical information.
