Description
Fibroblast Basal Medium is a sterile, phenol red-free, liquid tissue culture medium. This system is designed to support fibroblasts derived from normal human epidermis. Fibroblast Basal Medium contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, other organic compounds, trace minerals and inorganic salts.
To support the proliferation and plating efficiency of fibroblasts (e.g., Dermal Fibroblasts, Normal, Human Neonatal, Dermal Fibroblasts, Normal, Human Neonatal, Mitomycin C Treated, Fibroblast Basal Medium must be supplemented with one of the following kits:
Fibroblast Growth Kit–Serum-Free
Fibroblast Growth Kit–Low Serum
Optional media supplements:
Gentamicin-Amphotericin B Solution
Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution
Phenol Red
