Description
Human Fungiform Taste Cells are isolated form normal human oral. T25 flasks is required for cell adhension to the culture vessels. Grow cells in ECM-coated culture vessels with 5% CO2. Each vial contains at least 1x10^6 cells per ml.

Q:
We are interested in this kind of cells, could you please tell me how many passages the cells can sustain? Is each vial of cells we receive from a single donor, and if so, is it possible for us to order a mixed donor batch? In Creative Bioarray’s hands, about how many cell population doublings can we expect?
A:
We currently only have one donor available. These are primary cells and they are usually not good for multiple passaging. They usually last up to 10-12 population doublings. Our primary cells are usually provided at passage 2, therefore these cells can be passaged for an additional 1-2 passages.
