What is the principle of removing fibroblasts by repeated apposition method in the process of purifying tumor cells?

Tumor cells adhere to the wall more slowly than fibroblasts, so the suspension containing both types of cells is repeatedly adhered to the wall, and fibroblasts adhere to the wall first while tumor cells adhere to the wall later, to achieve the purpose of separating the two types of cells.
